Kathy Li is a Senior Vice President with George K. Baum & Company's National Housing Finance group. Ms. Li works with GKB's quantitative analytical group to develop and expand services, in addition to providing technical and structuring support to the housing bankers. Ms. Li brings with her more than 15 years of experience working with state and local HFAs and government entities. Her experience includes providing primary analytical, structuring and advisory services, and developing sustainable financing strategies for several government entities. Ms. Li assisted her HFA clients in strengthening their master indentures and financial flexibility through a range of strategies, including bond redemptions, liquidity replacements and evaluating economic refunding and new issuance opportunities. In addition, Ms. Li worked with HFAs to monitor their pipelines and provide insight on the best execution utilizing TBA sales of MBS or bonds.
Ms. Li is a CFA and holds an MBA from Georgia State University. She received her MS in International Finance from Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China, and her BS in Finance from the University of Accountancy and Finance of China in Beijing.
