Jorge Rodriguez is a 30-year veteran of the Texas public finance industry. During his career, Mr. Rodriguez has participated in the structuring and offering of more than $40 billion of municipal offerings, and has structured in excess of $20 billion as Financial Advisor to issuers throughout the State of Texas. He has served as Financial Advisor to numerous Texas cities, counties, higher education institutions, utilities and state agencies. Among the issuers Mr. Rodriguez has represented include; San Antonio Waters System, City Public Service, Texas Water Development Board, City of Houston, Houston Community College District, El Paso Community College and Alamo Community College.
Mr. Rodriguez has acted as Financial Advisor for various Texas issuers including the City of San Antonio, TX, State of Texas Public Finance Authority and the Austin Community College District. In his capacity, Mr. Rodriguez is responsible for the structuring, credit analysis and marketing of many complex offerings.
Mr. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, TX, and a Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Rodriguez currently serves as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas.
