Andrew Lanam is a First Vice President in George K. Baum & Company's Indiana Public Finance group. Mr. Lanam provides investment banking and municipal advisory services to clients throughout Indiana and Kentucky, including the states and its authorities, cities, counties, towns, and school corporations. Prior to joining GKB, Mr. Lanam served as co-manager of the Indiana public accounting and municipal advisory firm, Reedy Financial Group, PC. He was responsible for client, staff and transaction management in his practice area which covered all municipal finance, public utilities, economic development and utility accounting services for local units of government throughout Indiana. He has given presentations at various conferences and public meetings on municipal finance, utility rate studies and tax increment financing. Mr. Lanam has also served as an expert witness regarding local government accounting and finance.
Prior career positions include Commercial Credit Analyst and Commercial Banker with the Indiana-based financial institution, Jackson County Bank. In his roles with Jackson County Bank, Mr. Lanam’s duties included commercial credit underwriting, commercial loan portfolio management, business development and direct lending activities for a wide variety of business, commercial, and industrial clients.
Mr. Lanam is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Indiana and holds a BS in Public Affairs from Indiana University. He holds memberships with the Government Finance Officers Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana CPA Society and American Water Works Association.
