William Hofherr joined George K. Baum & Company as a Senior Vice President after serving as a Vice President in the Chicago Public Finance Office of Principal Financial Securities, Inc. Mr. Hofherr has experience in structuring many types of financings, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, refundings, housing bonds, water and sewer bonds, pension bonds, limited tax obligations, general obligation debt certificates, taxable variable rate notes, installment contract certificates, certificates of indebtedness, tax-increment bonds, and capital appreciation bonds. He has served as a lead banker on more than $70 billion in municipal financings for municipalities, school districts, higher education districts, park districts, library districts, fire protection districts and sanitation districts. Mr. Hofherr previously served as a Vice President with Rodman & Renshaw, Inc., as well as a Assistant Vice President with First National Bank of Chicago.

Mr. Hofherr holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Marketing and International Business from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Marketing from Loyola University-Chicago.
