Albert A. Boumenot is a Senior Vice President in George K. Baum & Company’s Illinois Public Finance office. Mr. Boumenot has a wealth of municipal finance experience. He has participated in more than $70 billion of municipal security offerings, ranging from sameday variable-rate demand notes, put bonds, COPs, Garvey Bonds, single and multifamily housing bonds, and various derivative products, such as traditional fixed-rate securities. Mr. Boumenot’s experience includes structuring both taxable and tax-exempt municipal securities.
Mr. Boumenot has participated in numerous Illinois government transactions as a senior banker or team member, including: State of Illinois, City of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, County of Cook & County of DuPage, Chicago Public Building Commission, Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, and the Chicago Transit Authority. In addition, Mr. Boumenot has worked with a significant number of cities, villages, park districts, sanitary districts, library districts and fire districts. He has used his experience on complex transactions and applies it to benefit Chicago’s smaller issuers.
Mr. Boumenot has more than 35 years of investment banking experience and previously served as Budget Director for the city of Chicago. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Providence College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fordham University.
