Albert A. Boumenot is a Senior Vice President in the Public Finance Department of George K. Baum & Company's Illinois Public Finance office. Mr. Boumenot has a wealth of municipal finance experience. He has participated in more than $40 billion of municipal security offerings, ranging from same-day variable-rate demand notes, put bonds, COPs, Garvey Bonds, single and multifamily housing bonds, and various derivative products, such as traditional fixed-rate securities. Mr. Boumenot's experience includes structuring both taxable and tax-exempt municipal securities. He has participated in numerous transactions as a senior banker and a team member for many Illinois governments, including the state of Illinois, city of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, County of Cook & County of DuPage, Chicago Public Building Commission, Illinois Sports Facilities Authority and the Chicago Transit Authority. In addition to working with many of the major governments of the state of Illinois, Mr. Boumenot has also worked with a significant number of cities, villages, park districts, sanitary districts, library districts and fire districts. Mr. Boumenot has used the experience gained on complex transactions and has applied it to the benefit of the Chicago office's smaller issuers.
Mr. Boumenot has more than 30 years of investment banking experience and previously served as Budget Director for the city of Chicago. Mr. Boumenot holds a Master of Business Administration from Providence College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fordham University. He maintains an active membership in the Government Finance Officers Association.
