Paul Hanley is a senior vice president and manager of the firm's
Marketing & Corporate Communications Department. Mr. Hanley has more than
18 years of marketing communications experience and has been involved with
elections in Colorado and nationally for the past 14 years. During the
past two years, he has shifted almost all of his professional time to
election-related work.
Mr. Hanley has been involved with more than 50 successful bond and mill
levy election campaigns and serves as the lead in-house election specialist
on all Colorado campaigns. He typically oversees campaign budgeting and
communications timelines, campaign messaging, direct mail development,
print advertising, and a host of other campaign-related service. During
the last election cycle, he played a lead role on the successful $89
million Thompson School District bond question as well as the firm's
other successful bond and mill levy override campaigns in 2005. Prior
to joining George K. Baum & Company, Mr. Hanley was employed with a
management consulting firm in Michigan involved with public sector
consulting projects and venture capital efforts. He was also previously
employed in the Finance Department of Colorado National Bank in
Denver. Mr. Hanley holds an M.S. (Marketing) from the University
of Colorado and a B.G.S. from the University of Michigan.
