Todd Burrus

Todd is an up-and-coming Public Finance Representative with George K. Baum & Company. His focus is in tax-exempt general obligation, lease purchase and revenue issues supported by property tax, sales tax or user fees for Kansas school districts, cities and counties. Todd holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance & Economics from Rockhurst University and is currently pursuing an MBA with emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Todd’s previous experience includes three years as an administrator of bond issue accounts and corporate escrows and three years as an analyst with a leading law firm, performing rebate calculations on tax-exempt bond issues and various verification calculations on new bond issues, to assist bond counsel attorney’s and tax attorney’s. Todd currently resides in the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area.
