Charles Boully
Senior Vice President
Chuck Boully has played a key role in public finance throughout
Kansas and the central states region since 1971. His experience
encompasses a broad range of municipal finance activities, including
the structuring of general obligation, industrial development,
housing, refunding, sales tax revenue and utility revenue bond
financing. He has served as lead banker in the role of manager or
financial advisor for more than 600 Kansas financings exceeding $7
billion in total par amount.
Mr. Boully serves as financial advisor to a number of issuers
throughout the state of Kansas. He has an extensive background
representing Kansas municipalities in credit presentations to the
major rating agencies and bond insurance providers. In addition,
through his work with Kansas school districts and other municipalities
requiring successful elections to issue bonds, Mr. Boully has
acquired valuable experience structuring and assisting with bond
election public information programs. He was a financial advisor
to the Wichita Public School District for its $284 million school
bond program, which was the largest ever in the state of Kansas.
Before joining George K. Baum & Company, Mr. Boully was vice
president and director of two other regional investment banking
firms and was employed by a Fortune 500 corporation. He received
his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State
University with emphasis in finance. He is currently the designated
chairperson of the Kansas Securities Industry Association and a
former member of the City of Wichita Airport Advisory Board.
