David Arteberry
Senior Vice President
Dave Arteberry is a senior vice president in the firm's Kansas City public
finance office where he has been employed since 1987. Mr. Arteberry is an
accomplished advisor and underwriter who interacts daily with the firm's
clients, providing creative financing options and detailed quantitative
analysis. He has extensive experience structuring tax-exempt bond issues
to comply with federal laws and to accommodate the unique variables
related to budgeting for Kansas school districts and municipalities. In
his time with the firm, Mr. Arteberry has completed more than 300
transactions for issuers across Kansas.
As a member of the firm's Quantitative Finance Group, Mr. Arteberry has
been responsible for structuring more than 100 refunding transactions. He
offers extensive firsthand knowledge of all types of public debt
financing, including general obligation bonds, utility revenue bonds, sales
tax supported debt and leasing. Mr. Arteberry provides thorough credit
analysis and has presented a variety of Kansas municipal credits to
the major credit rating agencies and insurance companies.
Mr. Arteberry holds a bachelor's degree in business administration
from the University of Kansas, a master's degree in business administration
from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a post graduate degree
in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics.
