The members of George K. Baum & Company's Public Power Finance Group gained their familiarity with public power issues through hands-on experience with local municipal electric agencies. We have provided financial advisory and underwriting services to a wide spectrum of public power issuers and possess substantial knowledge of the day-to-day workings of public power utilities. We have provided senior underwriting and/or financial advisory services on 45 public power issues since 1990, with a total par value of more than $850 million. We have experience assisting public power issuers of all sizes, ranging from some of the largest issuers in the nation, such as the Intermountain Power Agency and Guam Power Authority, to numerous smaller local issuers. In addition to our underwriting and financial advisory efforts, George K. Baum & Company is also very active in supporting public power credits in the secondary market.
