Brad Gysin is a Vice President with George K. Baum & Company serving the Higher Education & Nonprofit Finance practice. Mr. Gysin joined GKB in July of 2014 and is currently based in Denver, CO. Since joining GKB, he has provided quantitative support on a number of transactions involving both public and private colleges and universities, independent schools, nonprofit organizations, and renewable energy projects. Mr. Gysin has assisted a number of higher education and independent school clients reach outstanding ratings or achieve first-time investment grade credit ratings from both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s. Mr. Gysin specializes in P3 Student Housing financings. Since joining GKB, he has been involved in all of the Firm’s P3 Student Housing transactions.
He has recently served as the primary quantitative analyst on bond issuances for California College of the Arts (CA), Orange Coast Community College (CA), University of Wyoming (WY), Rollins College (FL), Seattle University (WA), Colorado Mesa University (CO), Metropolitan State University (CO), St. John’s College (MD/NM) and Mercer University (GA).
Mr. Gysin is a graduate of Florida Southern College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in both Economics and Business Administration.
