Matthew Webster is a First Vice President at George K. Baum & Company in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Webster has a B.A. from the George Washington University and has been involved in public finance and financial analysis since 1985. Mr. Webster has lengthy experience in structuring and analyzing tax increment financing offerings, special district financings and assessment-backed and other revenue backed municipal bonds. He has extensive experience working with computer models to design and analyze revenue and asset backed bond structures, using both commercial application software and proprietary financial structuring software. Mr. Webster specializes in public private partnership transactions (P3) and has worked on many of the largest and most complex financings in the Kansas City Area, including the Power & Light District, Sprint Arena, Truman Sports Complex, Kansas Speedway, Kansas City Street Car, NNSA Project and numerous other municipal transactions.

Prior to joining George K, Baum & Company, Mr. Webster served as Vice President and Director in the Ameritas (AIC) KC Public Finance Division and prior to that for more than 25 years with Oppenheimer & Co. as a banker. Mr. Webster began his career in Washington, DC as a financial analyst at a national firm. Currently Mr. Webster serves on the Boards of the Downtown Council and Kansas City Regional Transit Alliance.
