Jeremiah Miller is a Senior Vice President on George K. Baum & Company's Specialty Financial Products Desk. Mr. Miller is responsible for the placement and remarketing of the Firm's variable-rate debt underwritings and assists in the interest rate swap business for the Firm. He has been involved in underwriting more than $3.1 billion in par amount of short-term notes and variable-rate demand bonds and currently participates in remarketing more than $1.4 billion in par amount of variable-rate demand bonds each week.
Additionally, Mr. Miller assists with the day-to-day operations for the Firm's mortgage market programs. Mr. Miller joined the desk in 2006 after working in GKB's Higher Education & Nonprofit Finance Group as an Analyst for the previous two years. While in the Higher Education group, Mr. Miller was involved in the transaction execution and quantitative structuring of both tax-exempt and taxable debt financings for colleges and universities, independent schools, and other nonprofit entities. Mr. Miller holds an AB from Harvard University.
