Italian Pasta Company (AIPC)
AIPC is the largest manufacturer and marketer of dry pasta in North
America. The company produces more than 80 dry pasta shapes in two
vertically integrated milling and pasta production and distribution
facilities, located in Excelsior Springs, Mo. and Columbia, S.C.
AIPC generated approximately $190 million in revenue in 1998. The
Fund invested in AIPC in April 1997 shortly before the company went
public in October 1997. The Fund distributed all of its shares to
the partnership's investors in June 1998.

CST
Industries, Inc.
Formed in early 2001 to combine and operate the businesses of Columbian
Steel Tank Company and the Engineered Storage Products Company (formerly
a Division of A. O. Smith Corporation). The company is a manufacturer
and marketer of epoxy-coated and glass-lined storage tanks for the
municipal, industrial and agricultural storage markets. CST is the
leading U.S. supplier of bolted steel tanks for both dry and liquid
storage applications. Manufacturing operations are located in Kansas
City, Kansas (corporate headquarters); DeKalb, Illinois; Parsons,
Kansas; and Winchester, Tennessee. Pro forma combined revenues in
2000 were approximately $100 million.

Jami,
Inc.
Jami is a leading manufacturer and marketer of office furniture.
The company has been built through the acquisition of three separate
businesses and startup of a new business over the last five years.
The four individual businesses (Harter, Fixtures Furniture, ABCO
and Zoom) have their own brand names and product niches. Harter
manufactures and markets high traffic tables and stack chairs. Fixture
Furniture manufactures and markets high traffic tables and stacking
chairs. ABCO manufactures and markets value priced laminated
modular computer furniture and conference room tables. Zoom
manufactures mid-market task and managerial seating. Jami generated
approximately $75 million of revenue in 2003.

MAC
Equipment, Inc.
The company's primary focus is the manufacturing of pneumatic conveying
and air filtration equipment. MAC provides turnkey project solution
services for major process implementations and carries a full array
of replacement items. The company is the leading U.S. manufacturer
of pneumatic conveying products used in dry bulk material handling
systems. The company's air filtration equipment provides solutions
that reduce air-born dry dust particles, thus enabling regulatory
adherence and productivity improvements. In its latest fiscal year,
MAC generated revenue of approximately $65 million.

Bear Creek Foods, LLC
In May 2001, GKB and management investors of Bear Creek Foods acquired
Bear Creek Country Kitchens, Inc. Bear Creek Foods LLC is a branded
manufacturer and marketer of dried soups, dips, food bases, pasta
mixes, dried seasonings, and various dried food ingredients. Bear
Creek is the foundation to build a significant branded dried food
and food ingredient manufacturer. Bear Creek generated approximately
$50 million of revenue in 2003.

JMH
International, LLC
JMH International, LLC (dba JMH Premium) founded in 1983 and headquartered
in Delafield, Wisconsin, formulates and markets specialized dry
and wet food bases and seasonings. The company has its own chefs
and flavoring specialists who work with food service companies and
prepared food manufacturers to develop gourmet quality recipes and
flavoring ingredients. Together with Bear Creek Country Kitchens,
JMH produces an extremely wide array of FDA and USDA approved food
and prepared food flavorings and ingredients.

Millennium
Graphics, Inc.
Millennium Graphics, Inc., headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri,
is a lead Kansas City commercial printing company. Currently the
business manages two printing facilities: O'Dell Publishing, a specialty insert,
coupon and community newspaper printer; and Prestige Litho, a high-quality
multi-color sheet-fed printer. In 2003, Millennium generated approximately $25 million
in annual revenue.

Now, Inc.
The company provides temporary and permanent placement staffing
services for high-end office clerical, accounting, legal, and technology
professionals. The company is led by Ron Smith, an industry veteran
with over 25 years of experience at Robert Half International and
Staffing Edge, Inc. (now owned by Vedior). Staffing Now expects
to reach $150 million in revenue through acquisitions and internal
growth in a select number of geographic areas. Since its first acquisition
in mid-1999, the company has completed eight additional acquisitions,
with total revenue of approximately $55 million. The company has
operations in Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington
D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Chicago.
