Chuck is an executive vice president in George K. Baum & Company's Education & Nonprofit Finance Group, joining the firm April 2002. Mr. Procknow has built a national practice for focusing on the tax-exempt financing needs of independent elementary and secondary schools, institutions of higher education, and bio-medical research related institutions. During his career he has served as senior banker for over 200 tax-exempt bond issues for non-profit clients across the country.

Mr. Procknow's client base includes some of the most established independent schools, including Phillips Academy (Andover, MA), Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH), and Thacher School (Ojai, CA), as well as regional schools such as Oregon Episcopal School (Portland, OR), Belmont Hill School (Belmont, MA), The John Cooper School (Woodlands, TX) and Princeton Day School (Princeton, NJ).

Mr. Procknow's experience includes completing multiple financings for a range of higher education institutions, including Suffolk University, Lesley University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mr. Procknow has also structured transactions for private non-profit research institutions, including The Jackson Laboratory and Marine Biological Laboratory.

Prior to joining George K. Baum & Company, he served 17 years as head of State Street Bank & Trust Company's Public Finance Department, where he was responsible for all public sector investment banking activities.

Mr. Procknow is recognized as one of the leading bankers nationally for integrating interest rate swaps into borrowers' plan of finance.

Mr. Procknow holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Emory University.

Trinidad is a senior vice president in George K. Baum & Company's Education and Nonprofit Finance Group. Since joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Rodriguez has financed over $800 million in tax-exempt bonds for independent school, higher education and nonprofit institutions, including Duquesne University in Pennsylvania, Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, Kent Denver School, Palmer Trinity School in Miami, Suffolk University in Massachusetts, The University of Texas at Dallas among many others. He emphasizes designing a legal-financial structure, performing sophisticated financing analyses, and strategizing to achieve credit ratings and enhancement which meet his clients' financial objectives. Mr. Rodriguez has developed particular expertise in assisting his clients in evaluating the potential benefits and risks of derivative instruments.

Mr. Rodriguez also is an active board member for two nonprofits: Urban Peak, Colorado's only licensed homeless and runaway youth shelter, and New America School, a charter school with three campuses in the Denver metropolitan area serving the children of immigrant families with English language education.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rodriguez served as a policy adviser in the Colorado Governor's Office. Mr. Rodriguez holds a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Julia is a vice president in George K. Baum & Company's Education & Nonprofit Finance Group. Ms. Sayre is involved in the transaction execution and quantitative structuring of both tax-exempt and taxable debt financings for colleges and universities, independent schools and other nonprofit entities. She has structured numerous fixed rate and variable rate financings, and is involved in both general obligation and project financings. Ms. Sayre is also responsible for compiling and preparing financial profile, credit, and debt capacity analysis reports, which are used by issuers in the course of their strategic planning. She has performed quantitative analysis in connection with financings completed on behalf of a variety of independent school clients including, Northfield Mount Hermon School (MA), Palmer Trinity School (FL), Stratton Mountain School (VT) and Kent Denver School (CO). Ms. Donnelly holds a BA in History from Harvard College.
