Charles Procknow

Charles Procknow is an executive vice president in George K. Baum & Company's Education & Non-Profit Finance Group. Mr. Procknow previously served as Managing Director of State Street Bank & Trust Company's Public Finance Department, where he was responsible for all public sector investment banking activities, including tax-exempt bond financings for all non-profit borrowers, cities, towns, states, and revenue authorities. He and his team were particularly active in financings for non-profit borrowers, senior managing over 125 non-profit issues. Mr. Procknow also structured transactions for independent schools, independent research institutes, human service organizations, healthcare facilities and higher education.

Mr. Procknow has been quoted in The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Wall Street Journal, and The Bond Buyer. He recently published an article on capital financing in Independent School, and has presented at a range of industry conferences, including NAIS Summer Institute, CASE/NAIS Annual Meeting, NAIS National Conference and the Association of Independent Research Institute Annual Meeting.

Mr. Procknow received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Emory University.
