Who We Are
Our firm has maintained a significant public finance presence in California since 1987.  We pride ourselves on the level of our dedication to California K-12 school districts, county offices of education and community college districts.  Many Wall Street public finance firms that focused primarily on transactions have left the public finance market, but George K. Baum & Company’s California public finance team remains a partner with our clients.  We have continued to provide superior service to California school districts through both the upturns and downturns of the market, and are ready to meet the facilities financing challenges yet to come.
